ADA accessible parking sign

As required by the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (2010 Standards) for NJEA (New Jersey Education Association) in Trenton, New Jersey, American Line Striping provided the following restriping services to allow for accessible parking spaces:

  • ADA-accessible pavement markings are clear so that the handicapped can properly park their vehicles with easy access in and out of the car, including wheelchair accessibility.
  • ADA-accessible signage shows the “Reserved Parking” handicap logo sign along with the Penalty sign that describes the parking spot as a tow-away zone if noncompliant and the amount of the fine if in violation.
  • ADA-accessible wheel stops were installed to keep vehicles from reducing the clear width of the accessible route below 36 inches.
